Our Wedding Theme: Autumn Dreams (Donnie came up with it).
I did most of the planning myself. It wasn't so bad, I had over a year and half to plan everything. Towards the end, I didn't think that this was nearly enough time. But it was all good.
We picked October 18, because it's my mother's birthday (she passed away several years ago) and I thought it was a good way to celebrate it. I set up a special seat just for her.
We got married at Tree Tops Park in Davie, Florida. We both like the outdoors and this is a really gorgeous park.
Donnie and I didn't go with a traditional ceremony:
Our dog, Dingo, was the Ring-Bearer. She was absolutely adoreable. She was very well behaved and only barked during the reception.
We had a hand-fastening ceremony which was performed by one of our best friends, Stephanie Auletti.
I had my dress custom made. Just wait until you see the pictures of it. And I wore light blue Birkinstocks.
Our Flower Girl was dressed like a little fairy.
The Bridal Party walked down the isle to John Lennon's "Imagine".
We left the event on Donnie's 1968 Triumph Bonneville motorcycle.
My Mother-in-Law did all the flowers and the center pieces (with a little help from my friends and me).
We went to Brunswick, Georgia and New Orleans, Louisanna for our honeymoon.
